Technological readiness: Broadband internet access
Internet access and broadband subscription rates are good indicators of technological readiness of the broader population. Listed below are percentages of national populations that have broadband Internet subscriptions. Canada and the United States are the leaders with about a quarter of the population. Israel the Czech Republic, and Hungary also have high broadband subscription rates. China is near the average with India and the Philippines at the low end.
