National expenditures on education are an indicator of quality for current and future workforces. Summarized below are national spending rates (percent of gross domestic product) for leading outsourcing locations. Israel tops the list just exceeding the United States on expenditures as a percent of GDP. India is in the middle of the pack while China and the Philippines are at the low end.
Educational expenditure rates are sourced from the OECD 2009 Global Education Digest or the CIA World Factbook.
