How does the match service work?
SourcingLine matches you with a short list of prescreened providers that have indicated an interest in similar projects. More specifically, the process is as follows:
  • You select one of the project categories on the Provider Match page.
  • You enter your project description, provider preferences, and then log in or register.
  • Consultants at SourcingLine review your submission (note, we may call to ensure we fully understand your needs) and match your project with a short list of providers.
  • SourcingLine notifies you and the providers.
  • The providers contact you via email or phone (based on your preferences).
What does SourcingLine consider in making a match?
SourcingLine follows a 6 step match process. The key considerations are as follows:
  • Project category
  • Project scope and description
  • Project size and budget
  • Preferred technology
  • Preferred provider size
  • Preferred location
How many providers are in a match?
We follow generally accepted best practices and match you with a short list of 3-5 providers. You can select the exact number when you submit your match request.
How are providers prescreened?
Providers complete a verification process prior to being able to participate in the Match process. The verification process includes some or all of the following seven points:
  • Identity Verification A - Reverse Phone or Domain Lookup
  • Identity Verification B - Financial Transaction
  • Business Registration or Licensing Verification
  • Web Site Verification
  • Internet/ Public Records Search
  • Feedback Verification
  • Provider Agreement to Terms of Service
Does the match service cost anything?
The match process is free to buyers.
Can I leave feedback on a provider?
We welcome feedback on providers. After your project is complete, please log in, go to the provider's profile page and click on the Leave Feedback button. You will be asked to update your project information and leave ratings.
