SourcingLine uses a proprietary ranking algorythim that is constantly adjusted as we recieve new information on providers. Each provider is assigned a unique score for each area of service. The key criteria used in generating rankings are as follows:
- Profile and Portfolio - Provider profiles and portfolios of work are evaluated based on completeness and quality. Providers with higher quality profiles and portfolios rank higher.
- Feedback and References - Providers can collect feedback on SourcingLine and submit references for evaluation. Providers with high quality, verified references and feedback rank higher.
- Focus - Providers that focus in a specific services area will be ranked higher in related directories. e.g. providers that focus on web design will rank higher in the web design directories.
SourcingLine matches you with a short list of prescreened providers that meet your preferences and have the interest and capacity to take on your project. More specifically, the process is as follows:
- Log in or create a new account
- Enter your project description, provider preferences, and contact preferences.
- Consultants at SourcingLine review your project and match a short list of providers. We may call you to ensure we fully understand the project requirements and ensure the best match.
- SourcingLine shares your project and contact information with the short list of providers.
- The providers contact you to collect more specifics and submit a proposal.
Providers complete a verification process prior to being matched to any projects. The verification process includes some or all of the following seven points:
- Identity verification A - Reverse phone or domain lookup
- Identity verification B - Financial transaction
- Business registration or licensing verification
- Web site verification
- Internet/ public records search
- Feedback/ reference verification
- Provider agreement to terms of service
