Feedback and references are critical to building a credible online profile. At SourcingLine service providers can build feedback and references in two ways.
1. Service providers can ask clients to visit their profile page and leave feedback. We will then contact the client to verify the feedback and add any missing details.
2. Service providers can also submit references on SourcingLine and we will contact them and summarize the feedback. Service providers can submit references by loging in and navigating to My Provider Profile -> My References.
Reference checks and feedback verification is typically accomplished via a phone interview. It may also include identity verification, internet/ public records search, and website or domain verification. Note, reference checks and verifying feedback is dependent on the responsiveness of the client.
When a service provider registers and posts a Provider Profile, we will check and publish up to two references or verify up to two feedbacks at no charge. To add additional references a service provider must subscribe to one of our support services.
SourcingLine provides dispute resolution services for service providers with premium subscription services. If you receive negative feedback or a negative reference that you do not believe is justified, contact us and we will attempt to mediate a mutually agreeable outcome. Mediation typically involves independent client and service provider interviews, an assessment of key issues, and a resolution proposal. SourcingLine retains the right to remove any feedback that appears factually incorrect or is not updated to reflect the outcome of the resolution process.
SourcingLine only provides phone support to service providers that have selected one of our premium subscription services. Phone support is provided from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm Eastern.
Providers that elect to pay for one of our subscription services will receive priority responses to email support requests. Priority email is responded to with in one business day and often with in a few hours.
Video references are a new offering. Video references provide a more compelling medium to communicate client feedback. SourcingLine will collaborate with the service provider and client on scripting and scheduling an in person interview. A representative of SourcingLine will conduct the interview, video record the interview, edit the content and publish. Contact us to learn more about this exciting new offering.
