All designed or written aspects of the projects remain the property of Realm Web Design until all outstanding accounts are paid in full. This includes image designed graphics, website layouts, website code (HTML, PHP, JAVA, FLASH), logo designs, icons, writing services, search engine optimization and anything that was originated by Realm Web Design for the client . A deposit of 50% is required for all projects over $1400.00 before any design work will be carried out. This figure is non-refundable. All Projects under $1400.00 must be paid in full, unless arrangements have been made otherwise. When Realm designates that at completion of the project the final balance of payment is then due in accordance with our payment terms. There are no exceptions to this, i.e If the client decides they no longer wants the site, as they have commissioned the work and paid a deposit they are still obliged to pay for the work that has been done. Website Non payment will result in legal action being taken if necessary. Once a deposit is paid and work completed you are obliged to pay the balance of payment in full. We will contact clients via email and telephone to remind them of such payments if they are not received when due. It is the Realm Web Design policy that any outstanding accounts for work carried out by Realm Web Design or its affiliates are required to be paid in full, no later than 30 days from the date of the invoice unless by prior arrangement with Realm Web Design. All outstanding invoices are subject to a 10-15% late fee each month. If accounts are not settled or Realm Web Design has not been contacted regarding the delay, access to the related website may be denied and web pages removed, we will then pass such cases to the Small Claims Court to pursue payment, non payment can result in county court judgments (ccj’s) being added to the clients credit rating. Following consistent non payment of an invoice our Solicitors will contact the client in question, with a view to taking the matter further and if need be to seek payment through legal procedures, and if necessary court summons.
