Infotech Enterprises buys US-based Wellsco Inc.

Infotech Enterprises, an India-based consultancy and technology solutions provider, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Wellsco Inc.; a network engineering and management company based in the United States in an all-cash deal with a view to increase its business in the telecom sector.

Quoting a statement issued by the Indian tech form, an online report says that that the acquisition was made through its totally owned auxiliary firm IEAI or Infotech Enterprises America Inc. However, the Indian tech firm did not reveal the sum it paid to acquire Wellsco Inc.

In his statement, Infotech Enterprises chairman and managing director B. V. R. Mohan Reddy said that they were positive that they would take advantage of acquiring Wellsco to generate a strong momentum and augment the company’s leadership position further in the market for network engineering services.

Wellsco Inc, which primarily focuses on the telecom industry, is based in Paragould in Arkansas. This network engineering and management company has some of the major US telecom firms among its long-term clientele.
