TPI India Chief: India Largest Outsourcing Services Demand Market in Asia Pacific

Managerial Director of TPI India, Siddharth Pai, said in an interview with CNBC-TV18 that though the IT industry in India has yet to recover from a drop in activity, there are still signs of growth and optimism in offshore outsourcing to India. TPI India provides clients with expert sourcing solutions with a special emphasis on IT process and and business process outsourcing (BPO).

He added that from the company's perspective, there is a a definite spike in activity in the pipeline. However, this incline in the pipeline takes at least a month to reach its potential.

Subsequently, Pai went on to say that firms in the Indian IT industry experience improved performance. He clarified that what that meant was that there was less bad performance in this quarter, reported moneycontrol.com. This was dependent on how IT firms have managed to reduce costs by getting rid of additional sales offices that were not required or by postponing plans to fund them.

Pai continued to say, "I do not believe they [Indian IT firms] have yet had a significant uptick in revenues,” in an online report by moneyline.com .

Nonetheless, the TPI India chief also said that India itself is a huge market for ousourcing services, amid the looming recession, that has dwindled offshoring activity to India from Europe and the U.S. In fact, India is by far the largest demand market for outstanding services in the Asia Pacific region - this essentially means that a lot corporations within in India is thinking about how outsourcing can be utilized as a business tool.

Pai commented, "So in fact there is a lot of work right here in our backyard."
