UK-based Xchanging to acquire Data Integration for £9 million
The UK-based business process outsourcing consortium Xchanging Plc has recently consented to acquire the private enterprise Data Integration Ltd, a top networking, communication technology and security vendor in the UK, for approximately £9 million in cash. Xchanging Plc, one of the major and rapidly rising business processors worldwide, has declared that the amount to be paid for the acquisition would be paid in an arrangement of an assured payment of £6.5 million in cash over two years’ time, using target earning of approximately £2.5 million, depending on Data Integration delivering the operational profit marks.
Quoting a statement issued by Xchanging Plc, an industry news website reports that the acquisition of Data Integration will reinforce the firm’s technological competence in the network administered facilities as well as enable it to launch a reseller platform. In addition, Xchanging, whose customers include Deutsche Bank, the defense consortium BAE Systems and the pharmacy major Boots, is optimist that the acquisition would help the firm to create a tactical client base in the UK by means of Data Integration’s current network managed service agreements.
Meanwhile, Data Integration, which earned revenues to the tune of £14.5 million during the fiscal year ended on March 31, 2010, possesses expertise on application optimization, network security, IP telephony, high performance networks as well as open access networks. The UK-based firm presently has 56 professionals on its rolls and has been the favorite network collaborator of Xchanging during the last two years.
David Andrews, Xchanging Plc. CEO, issued a statement saying that working as one with Data Integration ensured exhilarating prospects ahead for both the organizations since progressively more business process outsourcing services were being delivered through technologies based on cloud computing. He further said that together Xchanging and Data Integration have developed the electronically administered service to handle claims for the London insurance market. According to Andrews, this was a significant instance of the strength of new generation expertise in business processing.
